Here, contemporary architecture dialogues with nature, and each cabin seems to have grown there, as an extension of the landscape...
An area between forest, glade and streams
The domain of Salagnac, located in the heart of a natural site classified ZNIEFF (Natural Area of Ecological Faunistic and Floristic Interest), extends over 40 hectares of hilly forests, between clearings, secret paths and small streams. A true natural setting, it offers a total immersion in a wild and preserved environment, where oak, beech, fir, redwood and other species mingle to create a setting conducive to hiking, contemplation and escape, whatever the season.
On this territory crossed by The Ruisseau des Dagues, visitors can discover in addition to contemporary huts perched in the trees, a magnificent mansion of the 17th And 19th century and its ancillary buildings (former stables, pigsty, stable, farm and its barn, well, small chapel...). These buildings are not open to the public today but you can admire their beauty from the outside. This is also where the Cottage is located, a house for rent with the family to enjoy a stay that takes you back in time but also the shared pool for all customers.
The huts
Les designer huts, perched a few meters above the ground and discreetly integrated into the relief, open onto nature thanks to large bay windows. Inside: a warm, refined universe, bathed in light. Assembled of wood, glass and metal, these unusual habitats designed by the architect Apolline Terrier, are a new approach to architecture surrounded by nature. The interior of the very functional cabins allows you to benefit from a flexible space that is pleasant to live in as a couple or as a family. In complete safety, children will be able to discover the joys of cabins and outdoor life. Everything is designed for (re) connect to the essentials, to yourself, to your loved ones, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The pool
In summer, a shared pool is available for stays in the cabins or in The Cottage. Unheated, it offers welcome freshness on sunny days! The pool is located next to the Cottage. For cabaneurs, a 25-minute walk on the estate will take you there.
