The domain

Nestled in the heart of Corrèze, Domaine de Salagnac extends over 40 hectares of forest and meadows Classified Natural Area of Faunistic and Floristic Interest (ZNIEFF). This exceptional place is home to a remarkable biodiversity, between large hundred-year-old trees, springs, basins and clearings.

Around it, a park designed and planted over time, where redwoods, cedars, rhododendrons and a century-old mountain elm compose a unique natural setting, imbued with memory and poetry. A living place, inhabited by history, and deeply rooted in its territory.

A bit of history...

Formerly an agricultural estate in autarky, Salagnac was a veritable small world in itself: farm, washhouse, pigsty, chestnut dryer, private chapel, and even a Ice cave still punctuate the places with their traces.

The manor, whose first stones date back to 1650, has spanned the centuries, combining elements of the Renaissance, the 18th and the 19th centuries, between Monumental chimney, ancient beams, stone tanks, Bassière and carved niches.
